Die-hard dinghy sailors are reluctant to switch to "houseboats". The Tirion is an alternative for them: a fast, sporty boat with a roof over its head.
The Tirion One Design is a boat for sailors who want to sail sportily, but at the same time are looking for a family boat with a stable floating position. The jib is quite small, so that even children can handle the sheet well. The Tirion is not a real cruising boat, but it is certainly suitable for travelling. If you want to stay overnight, I strongly recommend taking a cockpit cover with you. The 90 centimetre deep fixed keel requires either a crane or a slipway that extends far enough into the water.
